Designed specifically for the long range wanderer, the Pepperbox offers both high gain (13dbic) as well as wide beam width (180 degrees!). No antenna tracker is necessary for this antenna. Just aim in the general direction you intend to fly and go without worrying about aiming the antenna! Vertical coverage on this antenna is somewhat limited (only 60 degrees) so it is not suitable for high altitude runs. Available in RHCP (Blue) and LHCP (Green).

IBCrazy UHF Moxon Rectangle 433 MHz


This antenna upgrade is perfect for extending the range of your LRS/UHF system.

The Moxon rectangle is essentially a 2 element Yagi with the elements bent to direct the signal forward. The advantages of this antenna is the very high F/B ratio of about 25. Unlike the Yagi which has deep nulls to the sides, the Rectangle has it’s nulls to the rear. This makes for an excellent LRS/UHF FPV antenna.

It has a good frontal sweep of nearly 180 degrees and allows you to fly to the sides of the antenna without excessive degradation of signal. Do not fly behind yourself with this antenna. Gain is 5.75 dbi. Range boost is ~70%.

ImmersionRC EzUHF Long Range RC Transmitter


The EzUHF transmitter is a true powerhouse with a wealth of connectivity broadening the horizon for each FPV pilot. Headtracking support has now been taken out of the hands of the RC transmitter and is exclusively handled by the EzUHF transmitter, so any radio can be used with your TrackR2 now. Support for any radio battery voltage is guaranteed as well, as the EzUHF transmitter has a power-in jack which will accept a 3S LiPo, so no soldering in your precious RC transmitter is required. For Futaba systems using a 9.6V battery or 3S LiPo the EzUHF transmitter can be powered directly from it, with just a single cable. The battery voltage, either from the external battery, or provided by the radio, obviously is monitored and an audible alarm will sound when the battery gets low.

The EzUHF transmitter comes with an auxilary input that’ll offer exciting upcoming new features for FPV/UAV use. The ImmersionRC LapRF is a personal race timing system for FPV quads using 5.8GHz video feeds.

The passing of a quad through the start/finish gate is precisely measured using the energy emitted by the 5.8GHz transmitter on the quad.

Easy To Use

It doesn’t get much easier. Power on the LapRF, drop it in the start/finish gate, select its ID in the free Android/iOS app, select the number of pilots, and video channels used, and start racing.

The LapRF will run all day, measuring lap times and speaking the results. There is no better tool to allow pilots to measure their performance, and work to improve it

No More Transponders!

The lapRF uses the Radio Frequency energy emitted by the Video Transmitter on the model to detect its presence within the race gate.

The current generation of racing drones have two things in common, they all use 5.8GHz video downlinks, and they all need to be on different channels to race together. This is all that the lapRF system needs to precisely time events.

No RFID transponders, no Infra-Red transponders, no complex installations. Just place the lapRF system in the start/finish gate, and start racing.

Bluetooth Link to Phones and Tablets

The LapRF Personal Timing System includes a bluetooth module which can quickly link an iOS or Android device to the gate.

Enter pilot names, start the race, and the lap times will be spoken along with the pilot’s name. All lap times will be shown in a table, along with average, and best lap times.
Any loss of Bluetooth connection will not result in loss of lap times. When Bluetooth is reconnected, all missed lap times will be transferred to the app.

Personal… but Shareable

The LapRF Personal Timer was designed to be used by one pilot, that is where it is the most precise. But if you want to invite a few friends along for a quick race around the park, we support that too, out of the box. No need to figure out how to interface your mates timers together, or run multiple apps, just share yours. Timing resolution (which is more than enough with one pilot) decreases as you add more pilots, but when you start with more than enough, and share, you end up with just enough.

Integrated 2600mAh Battery

Integrating a high capacity, but common 18650 battery (available from vape shops worldwide) the LapRF doesn’t need an external power supply.

To allow quick in-the-field replacements, we included a handy battery door in the bottom of the unit, minimizing down time during battery changes.

When it is time to recharge the battery, the integrated charger just requires a USB hookup, no need to remove the battery.

Instead of using a standard receiver module in the timing system, ImmersionRC’s hardware engineering team designed a custom module, which can be calibrated on-the-fly to adapt to the different power levels found in races.

Sensitive enough to detect passing quads, but selective enough to ignore adjacent channel interference. Heavily filtered to ignore off-band interference common at race events.

To top it all off, we designed custom antennas with gate-shaped beams which let you precisely define the detection area of the timing system (something that competitive units sorely lack). These antennas are designed for RHCP/LHCP, and Linear polarization, covering everything that will be seen at a race event.

LiveTime Integration

The ImmersionRC LapRF Race Timing Systems are both supported by the industry-leading LiveTime Scoring Engine.

Full integration of the personal system via USB, or the event system via Ethernet, including full auto-calibration of the timing system, and even a built-in Spectrum Analyzer to analyze event background noise.

Hands-Free Control from Apple Watch

This is a little feature that sounds like a gimmick, but in practice works quite well.
Your race is configured, your fellow pilots are ready to race, goggles down, and now you need to take your phone/tablet from your pocket to hit the start button.

Nope, just reach to your wrist, hit the start button, and wait for the adrenaline buildup that accompanies most race starts.

Of course, as an added bonus, this doubles your bluetooth range!. Just leave your phone/tablet within range of the timing system, and use your watch to remotely control it from up to 100m away.

Pimp your Puck!

During development, we referred to the lapRF personal edition as the ‘Timing Puck’ (its resemblance to a hockey puck apparently had something to do with that)

Pimping your Puck therefore seems an appropriate way to refer to customizing your timing puck, making it stand out from the crowd, in the same way that our Vortex community loves to pimp their quads

Several ‘pimp kits’ will be offered soon after product release, in colours defined by the community.

Connex ProSight Compatible

The LapRF is just as comfortable in the digital world as analog. Many successful mixed Analog and Digital races have been run by race director Joe Scully with a great deal of success.

NOTE: Prosight units must be placed in fixed-frequency mode in order to connect pilots and channels.

ImmersionRC RapidFire Goggle Receiver Module


The rapidFIRE technology the rapidFIRE module is named after 'fuses' together the images from two 5.8GHz A/V receiver modules into one beautiful, interference-free image. Tearing and rolling are eliminated and our advanced noise-detection algorithms guarantee a clean and stable image at all times. The rapidFIRE module is optimized for use in environments with multi-path interference such as indoor racing, flying in abandoned buildings etc. but also offers superb sensitivity and selectivity outdoors and for long range use.

The rapidFIRE module is compatible with all Dominator LCD goggles including V1, V2, V3, SE, HD1, HD2, HD3, HDO, and Attitude V3 and V4. To guarantee this compatibility is ships with injection molded and beautifully painted module bay doors for Dominator and Attitude goggles.

For Attitude and HDO goggles, the module is plug and play. For others, an included headtracker-bay aux power board, with flat-flex cable, is included which is recommended to be used for best results.

As expected from ImmersionRC we've future-proofed the rapidFIRE module by equipping it with an USB port, allowing future firmware updates and the adding of new features through our Vortex configuration app.

The rapidFIRE module enables easy menu navigation by means of a 5-way joystick which is used to scroll around the menus that are displayed on a responsive OLED display on the outside of the module, with feedback of critical parameters displayed on the OSD.

The ImmersionRC Tramp HV 5.8GHz Video Tx is one of the most advanced 5.8GHz Video Transmitter available today. Only 4 grams, and a slender 31 x 20mm, the TrampHV is also a small direct LiPo-powered vTx.

Pit Mode

The ImmersionRC TrampHV was the first transmitter to support Pit Mode, which was introduced successfully at the FPVAirShow in France. Pit mode transmits a tiny amount of power on a pre-defined frequency to allow for quad setup at a race event without disrupting the show. Pit mode on the TrampHV is a little different than other offerings, being controlled by race directors transparently at drone races. A race director can stay legal by choosing a pit frequency authorised for use at the event, which can be different for events in different regions. Programmed at the event using the Touch’n’Race wand.

Touch ‘n’ Race for Race Directors

Touch’n’Race, a patent-pending technology which helps both the casual racer, and race directors alike.

Transmitters are placed in Race mode upon arrival at a race event, and remain in that mode until the event is over. Race directors can, without powering up a model, define the frequency and power output of the transmitter, in 5 seconds flat before a race starts.
As soon as the race is over, and the battery disconnected, the TrampHV reverts to it’s race-director defined mode. Massively decreased inter-heat times are possible with this technology, meaning more practice runs, more qualifiers, and races which start and finish on-time (a rarity in the world of drone racing today). More importantly, the chances of a race being disrupted by an accidental power-up in the pits are eliminated, a dream for race organisers.

Touch ‘n’ Race for Pilots

Why let race directors have all the fun?. The personal TNR wand* avoids dip-switch hell even in the local park. Touch-free programming of video transmitters before you launch, eliminating frequency collisions, eliminating the ‘what channel was I on last’ question, and allowing power levels to be modified between flights to adapt to local conditions. Note that the wand is not required to operate the transmitter. A traditional button + LED user interface may also be used to program channel, band, and power level.

Thermally Protected

We have all experienced long delays at the starting grid before starting a race. No airflow over the electronics and video transmitters overheating. Most video transmitters (even the higher end units) have no thermal protection whatsoever and will happily cook themselves and prematurely fail. The TrampHV is a little different. It constantly monitors the temperature of the Tx, and gracefully reduces power output to increase battery life and protect the transmitter. As soon as the props start spinning, it detects the temperature reduction and quickly boosts power output.

Screened for Protection, and Certification

The only Video Transmitter in this size and weight class with a fully screened RF deck, providing protection against dust, dirt and knocks, while ensuring smooth sailing through the RTT&E certification process. An optional plastic case can be easily installed to increase this protection even further, without adding excessive size and weight.

LapRF Certified

The TrampHV was designed alongside ImmersionRC’s RF Lap Timing system, with certified compatibility. LapRF eliminates the need for transponders on the quad for lap timing, and instead uses the energy emitted by the 5.8GHz transmitter on the quadcopter. Two LapRF versions will be available, a 16-channel race version for larger events, and a personal system no larger than a hockey puck for personal use (up to 4 pilots). Both versions sport a wireless connection to a smart phone for timing and configuration.

Anti-Glitch

Another first, introduced by ImmersionRC at FPVAirRace, is technology which allows video transmitters to power up cleanly on their assigned channel without wiping out neighbouring channels. Gone are the days when your fellow pilots need to hover safely why you power up beside them. This technology enables asynchronous race starts, where pilots join a race at any time without creating any interference.

Calibrated Power

Each and every TrampHV is factory calibrated to ensure precise power outputs, especially at the critical low-power race levels. No more cross-talk from 25mW transmitters which are instead emitting 200mW!, or worse, 25mW transmitters which emit much lower power levels. No more RF lap timing issues caused by pilots running wildly different power levels.
